About the Program
Who this is for
The flagship summer experience. Each week, students study a major topic in world affairs — from AI to global politics to ethics — produce a written research piece, and use that work in a live in-class debate. The module structure means full-summer students continuously meet fresh material, while week-by-week students can join at any point in the season.

Curriculum
Seven weeks, week by week
Each week is a self-contained module. Full-summer students continuously meet fresh material; week-by-week students can join at any point.
Students confront the technology already reshaping their lives. We unpack how algorithms make decisions, what training data captures and obscures, and how to separate AI hype from genuine disruption. Through structured debate, students argue motions on AI in education, hiring, and healthcare — learning to prove speculative impacts and respond to technical objections. Writing assignments push students to translate complex systems into clear, defensible arguments.
