Ricky Huang
Co-Founder
As the former Director of Training at the Oxford Union, Ricky designed and delivered debate training at one of the world's oldest debating societies. As a competitor he won the Indo-Pacific Debating Championship, ranked 2nd best speaker in North America, and placed 8th among speakers at the World University Debating Championship.
Peregrine Beckett
Co-Founder
Peregrine served as Head Coach of the Columbia Debate Society and was ranked the 3rd best American university debater. His competitive record includes a Tournament of Champions Lincoln-Douglas semifinal and Best Speaker at the Harvard Invitational.
Tasmia Rahman
Co-Founder
A UC Berkeley graduate, Tasmia has worked as a strategic consultant to Silicon Valley venture firms and as an advisor to healthcare technology leaders. Her consulting background also spans a Washington, DC law firm and cybersecurity.
Shaurya Chandravanshi
WSDC Coach
Shaurya debated at the London School of Economics, ranked among the top 10 speakers at the World University Debating Championship, and competed for the UAE national team. He now serves as chief adjudicator at international tournaments.
Netra Easwaran
WSDC/WSC Coach
Netra debated with the Yale Debate Association and competed successfully on the APDA circuit. She has directed the World Scholars Cup and served as Director-General of Yale's Model United Nations.
Amaan Ibrahim
MUN/Public Speaking Coach
A six-time TEDx speaker, Amaan won the 2024 Dubai Police National Security Debate Championship and has won more than 60 public speaking competitions. He specialises in Model United Nations coaching.
Biser Angelov
WSDC Coach
Biser is a champion of the European University Debating Championships and reached the top 16 globally at the World University Debating Championship. He coaches the Bulgarian national team and sits on the board of the Bulgarian Debate Association.
Zach Fleeser
Public Forum Coach
Zach debated at the University of Oxford, qualified multiple times for the Tournament of Champions, and won awards at NSDA Nationals. He also serves as convenor of the ICYD.
Mac Hays
Public Forum Coach
Mac debated for Brown University and placed 4th at NSDA Nationals. He has coached debate in Taiwan on a Fulbright grant and instructs at the National Symposium for Debate.
Matt Mauriello
Debate & Essay Coach
Matt debated with the Harvard College Debating Union, winning the Yale Invitational APDA championship and reaching multiple APDA finals. He coaches both debate and competition essay writing.
