Curieux Academic Journal Mentorship - 20 Hour 1-on-1

Extended one-on-one supervision of a research paper for Curieux, from question to accepted-for-review manuscript, with room for revision after journal feedback. 20 flexible hours.

About this course

The extended Curieux track gives a student 20 hours of one-on-one mentorship to take a research paper from an open question to a polished manuscript, with hours held back for revision after the journal responds. Students in any subject, from the sciences to the humanities, work through research design, literature review, data or source analysis, findings, discussion, abstract and references, and learn how peer review works. Sessions are scheduled flexibly with a Writing Scholars tutor and hours are used within six months. Submission is free; a $200 publication fee applies only if the paper is accepted and is paid to Curieux directly. Acceptance is decided by the journal and is never guaranteed.
