One-on-one economics essay mentorship for the LSESU Economics Society Essay Competition and John Locke Economics category. 10 flexible hours over the summer.
About this course
Economics Scholar is a one-on-one summer mentorship for students in Year 10 and above preparing for the LSESU Economics Society Essay Competition (essays due September 1) and related contests including the John Locke Economics category and the Cambridge Re:think essay competition run by CCIR. Students work through prompt analysis, economic argumentation, Harvard referencing and multiple mentored drafts. All 10 hours are scheduled flexibly with your mentor over the summer.

What if I miss a class?
We offer free, complimentary makeups for all students in cases where a class is missed. Contact us to arrange a makeup session.
How do you track progress?
We send parents written feedback on their students after every class! This includes areas of strength and specific recommendations for improvement.
Are tournaments required?
No, however we always encourage and support tournament attendance. Tournaments are a great way for students to apply their skills in a competitive environment.
How do I pay?
