A structured introduction to Model UN for ages 11-14: procedure, position papers, speeches and caucusing, ending in a full mock committee. In person in Barsha Heights.
About this course
A structured introduction to Model UN, preparing students for school conferences and the Dubai circuit: rules of procedure, country research, position papers, speeches from the floor and lobbying in unmoderated caucus. Every week runs the same cycle - drill a skill, simulate it in a mock committee chaired at real conference pace, then review - and the term ends in a full mock committee with awards. Eight weekly two-hour sessions per term at I-Rise Tower, Barsha Heights, capped at eight. The first session is a free trial.
