Junior Introduction to Public Forum

Students learn Public Forum Debate - an 2v2 American format that emphasizes preparation and world knowledge. Over the duration of the class, they master crucial research skills, learn Public Forum-style notetaking, and become familiar with the constructive, rebuttal, summary, and final focus speeches. At the end, students are encouraged to attend an online Public Forum competition hosted by Harvard University.
